Romans 4 is a passage where the Apostle Paul takes the example of Abraham to explain that the way a person is justified is not by works but by faith. Abraham was accounted as righteous by believing the word of God’s promise while he was still uncircumcised. Also, David sang of the blessing of the person who received the removal of sin during the era under the law. The Apostle Paul connects these two facts into a single truth. And he clearly reveals that the channel through which a person is justified is faith from beginning to end.
Looking at this passage from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, it is clearly revealed that anyone who believes and accepts the baptism Jesus received at the Jordan River, the blood He shed on the cross, and His resurrection on the third day as one work of salvation is accounted as righteous by God.
